On Saturday, August 5th, CIFC hosted a picnic for the residents of the Beaver Street Apartment Complex. The event was a major success, with residents of all ages coming together to eat, socialize, and play. The residents snacked on burgers, chips, and fresh watermelon to the delighted squeals of children with their faces painted enjoying the bounce house.

The fire department was present in a strictly social capacity, as the grill was expertly manned by CIFC Facilities Director, Rob Santos, leaving them free to interact with the children and show off their shiny red truck. The Cadets of the Danbury Police Department provided traffic and safety support, while also enjoying the chance to meet members of the community they will be serving.

Beaver Street Apartment Complex is Section 8 affordable housing as designated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CIFC manages the Beaver Street Complex under the oversight of HUD. For more information on Beaver Street Apartment Complex, please visit CIFC.org.
